Como agree deal to sign Moise Kean for €40 million

On 24 August 2026 the striker Moise Kean reached an agreement to join Como from Fiorentina, multiple sources confirm, including insider Fabrizio Romano.

Last week Como submitted an offer to Fiorentina to take Kean on loan for €5 million with a mandatory buy clause of €25 million. Fiorentina had indicated they were reluctant to send the forward out on loan and would only consider a permanent sale for a substantially higher fee.

Transfer terms and progress

Como, which views Kean as a priority target, continued negotiations and now appear close to finalising a permanent transfer. The two sides are reported to be near a deal worth €40 million up front, plus an additional €5 million in potential bonuses.

The move would represent a major investment for Como and a swift resolution to Fiorentina's stance that any exit for Kean should come as a significant sale rather than a short-term loan.

Negotiations are ongoing and the clubs still need to finalise personal terms and medical checks before the transfer can be made official.
