North Macedonia start final preparations for Austria tie
The squad will complete preparations in Skopje's T Arena before flying to Vienna for the August 30 match (kick-off 16:05).

The North Macedonia men's senior basketball team began the final phase of preparations this evening ahead of their EuroBasket 2029 pre-qualifier match against Austria, scheduled for August 30, 2026 in Vienna at 16:05.
Head coach Zhozep Marija Berokal has assembled the squad in Skopje to complete the full preparatory programme at T Arena, where the team will focus on physical work and tactical drills before departing for Austria. The training camp opened on the evening of August 24, 2026 (publication time 20:20).
Preparation schedule
Planned sessions in Skopje include two training blocks on Tuesday at 10:00 and 18:00. On Wednesday the team will hold a single session at 12:00 that will include video analysis and recovery work.
Thursday's programme foresees gym work, additional video analysis and a training session, while the next day the travelling party will leave for Vienna. The flight is scheduled for 12:35, and an afternoon workout in the Austrian capital is planned upon arrival.
In Vienna the team will train again on Saturday at 15:45 before the main challenge arrives on Sunday: the match with Austria, kick-off 16:05. Match day will include a morning activation, final video analysis and last preparations before the departure to the arena.
The fixture is part of the second round of the EuroBasket 2029 pre-qualifiers; the staff and players will use the days in T Arena to maximise preparation and concentration ahead of the trip to Vienna.
