Harry Kane has told Bayern Munich officials that he will remain at the club, agreeing to extend his stay until the summer of 2029 and is expected to sign the new deal on arrival in Munich.
The England striker, who formally entered the final year of his contract with Bayern, arrived at the German giants three years ago from Tottenham and has been subject of continuous speculation about a possible return to England.

Bayern reacted to the transfer rumours by offering Kane a new contract, and talks reportedly progressed smoothly. Kane "definitely confirmed to Bayern chiefs last night" that he will stay, according to reports, and has accepted the club's proposal to extend the collaboration.
Kane will join Bayern's preparations for the new season this week after receiving a slightly longer break because of his World Cup participation. He is expected to complete the paperwork and sign the contract immediately upon his arrival in Munich.
The 33-year-old has produced outstanding numbers for Bayern: 146 goals and added 33 assists in 147 matches across the last three seasons.
With the extension likely to keep Kane at Bayern through the 2028–29 season, the club secures one of Europe's most prolific forwards as it heads into the new campaign.
