Skopje police have filed a criminal complaint against two individuals, identified by initials R.K. and I.S., on suspicion of murder after a shooting in the Dukandzhik neighbourhood.
Police say suspects rode up on a motorcycle and opened fire
The complaint was submitted to the Basic Public Prosecutor's Office — Skopje following investigative steps and actions taken by the police. Authorities say the incident occurred on September 6 at about 23:30 near the junction of Prohor Pchinski and Vojdan Chernodrinski streets.
According to the police account, the two suspects arrived on a motorcycle and fired at a group of people gathered at the scene. During the exchange, a 26-year-old man, A.M. of Skopje, was struck by a projectile.
Emergency medical teams transported A.M. to the Clinical Center "Mother Teresa" where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Investigators from the Skopje regional police unit carried out measures at the scene and collected evidence before forwarding the case to prosecutors. The Basic Public Prosecutor's Office — Skopje will decide on further legal steps.
