Criminal complaint filed against former Struga mayor Ramiz Merko over building permit in Mislishevo
A complaint accuses him of negligent conduct for signing an allegedly unlawful permit; two municipal employees are also charged.

A criminal complaint has been filed against former Struga mayor Ramiz Merko alleging negligent performance of duty for signing a building permit for a cadastral parcel in the Mislishevo area during his mayoral term.
According to the complaint, Merko signed the permit while serving as mayor. The document is alleged to have been issued unlawfully.
Two municipal employees also charged
Criminal charges were also brought against two municipal employees: A. B. (50) from Struga and N. R. (57) from Poum. The complaint states that they, in their capacities as an advisor in the Sector for Urbanism and as assistant head of the same sector, prepared and issued the permit earlier.
The complaint says the permit was based on incomplete documentation and was issued without an attached conceptual project, in violation of the Law on Construction.
The case centers on a cadastral plot in the Mislishevo area of the Struga municipality and concerns the legality of the administrative steps that led to the issued permit.
