Dog on the pitch and mounting criticism of coach Goce Sedloski after loss to Scotland
A pitch-invading dog and social-media taunts amplified criticism of coach Goce Sedloski after the loss to Scotland.

North Macedonia suffered another disappointing result in the national team’s recent meeting with Scotland, a defeat that intensified criticism aimed at coach Goce Sedloski after a prolonged scoring drought and a run without wins.
Pitch interruption and online mockery
During the match at the Arena a dog ran onto the pitch, briefly halting play and providing a moment that drew more attention than the performance of the home side. The interruption quickly became a talking point online.
Critics seized on Sedloski’s situation — “007”, without a goal in 630 minutes and without a win in seven matches — and used the incident to ridicule the coach’s position.
One online comment captured the tone of the reaction: "Coach, put me on so I can score a goal …" the message read, a remark that the account-holder seemed to direct at the coach after the spontaneous interruption during the North Macedonia–Scotland fixture.
Earlier, midfielder Elmas had admitted the team’s mood: "It's hard for me! We must lift ourselves from this, otherwise it will be even worse!"
