Dog briefly interrupts First League match in Stip
Dog ran onto the pitch in the first half; stewards removed it quickly and the match resumed.
A brief interruption occurred during a First League match in Stip on 21 August 2026 when a dog ran onto the pitch in the first half.
Play paused only briefly
The animal wandered onto the field under the stadium lights while the match was ongoing. Stadium stewards and club staff quickly moved onto the turf, removed the dog and the referee restarted play after a short pause.
The incident did not affect the flow of the game and lasted only a few moments before normal play resumed.
The match was held under floodlights and attracted a large crowd: the new stand at the City Stadium in Stip was reported to be full.
A video of the interruption circulated on social media after the game.
