Bowling: Uros Stoklas sets new Guinness World Record
North Macedonia international bowled continuously for 25 hours — final figures list nearly 3,200 throws and more than 15,000 pins knocked down.

Uros Stoklas, a member of North Macedonia's national bowling team, has set a new Guinness World Record after an extraordinary continuous effort on the lanes.
According to the final tally, he completed 25 hours of uninterrupted bowling, with nearly 3,200 throws, more than 15,000 pins knocked down, 26 full series of 120 throws and an average score of 615.
The attempt was staged as a single, continuous endurance challenge: a test of concentration, technique and physical stamina rather than a conventional competition format. Stoklas’s performance drew praise from teammates and local sports officials who attended the session.
How the attempt unfolded
Organisers kept a strict log of each series and the overall running time to meet Guinness World Records’ verification requirements. The 26 complete series of 120 throws each defined the structure of the attempt and produced the large total of pins recorded.
For North Macedonia, the achievement represents a high-profile moment for a sport that normally receives limited public attention; organisers described Stoklas as both a national team athlete and a sports ambassador whose feat will be used to promote bowling domestically.
The record — officially reported as a new Guinness World Record — adds an unusual individual milestone to Stoklas’s competitive résumé and is expected to bring extra visibility to bowling in the country.
