Kumanovo fined 30,000 denars for spitting at referees, KK Skopje penalised 22,000

After the fifth round of the Super League the Macedonian Basketball Federation published a disciplinary bulletin that levied fines against two clubs for incidents at their most recent home games.

Kumanovo must pay a 30,000 denars fine following behaviour by their supporters during the match against Kozhuv. The fine was imposed because fans spat at the referees while the Kumanovo side won the game convincingly.

Sanctions and organisational penalties

KK Skopje received a total of 22,000 denars in fines after the federation recorded several organisational shortcomings in the club’s home fixture against Kumanovo. The penalties include amounts for poor match organisation and additional fines for technical fouls committed by coach Petreski and members of the team bench.

The bulletin makes clear that some clubs again face financial sanctions tied to the conduct of their fans, while others are penalised for failures in match preparation and hosting. The sanctions are part of routine league discipline after round five of the domestic championship.

No individual player suspensions were announced in the published bulletin. Clubs have the right to appeal the decisions through the federation’s established procedures.
