Kumanovo signs Macedonian international Adem Mekić
Adem Mekić returns to Kumanovo under a contract that allows departure only for an overseas offer; season opens away to MZT Skopje.
Kumanovo have completed the signing of Macedonian international Adem Mekić ahead of the new Superleague season, the club announced on 30.09.2026 19:38.
Return to Kumanovo and a contract with an exit clause
Mekić joins the squad coached by Marin Dokuzovski and is expected to be a major reinforcement for the team. The player has a special agreement with Kumanovo that contains a clause allowing him to leave only if he receives an offer from abroad.
This move marks Mekić’s return to Kumanovo after several years away; he previously wore the club’s jersey in the 2017/2019 season.
Kumanovo open the new campaign away against MZT Skopje. The two clubs already met in the Super Cup, where the reigning champion took the victory.
