Lazio earn 2-0 Serie A win at Venezia
Mattia Zaccagni (51') and Noslin (60') secured a 2-0 Serie A win for Lazio; Venezia remain without a positive result in five games.
Lazio collected an important away victory at Venezia on Saturday evening, beating the hosts 2-0 in a Serie A fixture played on September 19, 2026.
The match looked capable of turning Venezia's way early on: in the 17th minute the home side were awarded a penalty, but Jeboa missed from the spot and the score remained goalless.
After the break Lazio took advantage. In the 51st minute Mattia Zaccagni converted a penalty to put the visitors ahead.
Control and a second goal
Nine minutes later Noslin doubled the advantage with a strike that effectively settled the contest. Lazio then introduced a number of substitutions to protect the lead, slowed the tempo and closed out the game.
The win takes Lazio to 13 points in the table and up to third place. Venezia, meanwhile, remain still seeking a positive result after five rounds of the season.
