The Barcelona forward tried to travel incognito after a holiday in Colombia, but was recognized by other passengers; the club is preparing for friendly matches and the start of LaLiga.
Lamine Jamal returned to Europe after a several-day holiday in Colombia and chose a regular flight for the return trip, trying to remain unnoticed during the flight.
In photos published on his Instagram it can be seen that seated alone in his seat he wore a hoodie and a large sleeping mask that covered a large portion of his face. However, the concealment did not last — other passengers recognized the footballer and began photographing him with mobile phones.
Jamal had previously spent several days in Colombia. He was in Medellin and appeared on stage with Colombian reggaeton performer Ryan Castro; recordings of their meeting quickly spread across social networks, and the player shared several photos from his stay on his Instagram profile.
Barcelona's schedule before the new season
Meanwhile, Barcelona is finalizing preparations for the start of the new season. The Catalan club will play a friendly against Basel on August 16, and three days later comes the traditional Joan Gamper Trophy against Al Ahli.
Barcelona's first league match is on August 23 away against Elche — the start of a campaign in which the team will try to win a third consecutive Spanish championship title.
Jamal had an extended break after the World Cup, where he won the title with Spain, and is now expected to join club duties ahead of the new season.
