Lamine Yamal travelled on a regular flight and was recognised despite trying to hide
Barcelona winger tried to travel incognito after holiday in Colombia but was recognised by fellow passengers; club readies for pre‑season fixtures and LaLiga opener.

Lamine Yamal returned to Europe after a short holiday in Colombia, choosing to fly on a regular commercial service and attempting to keep a low profile during the journey.
Photos shared on his Instagram account show the Barcelona forward wearing a hood and a large sleep mask that covered much of his face while seated on the plane. His disguise proved temporary: fellow passengers soon recognised one of world football’s brightest stars and began taking pictures with their phones.
During his stay in Colombia, Yamal visited Medellín and made a public appearance alongside Colombian reggaeton performer Ryan Castro; video clips from that encounter circulated rapidly on social media and the player posted several images from Colombia to his Instagram feed.
Барселона го чека стартот на сезоната
Back in Barcelona, the club is finalising preparations ahead of the new campaign. The Catalan side will play a friendly against Basel on 16 August, followed three days later by the traditional Joan Gamper Trophy match against Al Ahli.
LaLiga action for Barcelona begins on 23 August with an away fixture at Elche — the start of their bid to secure a third consecutive Spanish championship.
Yamal took an extended post‑World Cup break after helping Spain win the tournament and is now expected to rejoin Barcelona’s squad for pre‑season duties and the upcoming competitive matches.
