Lepa Brena turns 66 — still performing and in the spotlight
Fahreta Jahić-Živojinović celebrates her birthday on October 20, 2026, remains active on stage and linked to a reported €80,000 Zlatibor fee.

Celebrated Balkan star Lepa Brena marks her 66th birthday on October 20, 2026 — a milestone that finds the singer still active and in the public eye.
Born Fahreta Jahić-Živojinović in Tuzla on October 20, 1960, she broke through in the early 1980s as the frontwoman of the band Slatki Greh and with the hit "Mile voli disco," becoming one of the region's most recognisable music acts.
Beyond music
From film screens to business
Brena also reached audiences on the silver screen through the popular film series "Ajde da se volimo," and later built a career offstage as an entrepreneur and co-founder of Grand Production. After four decades of professional work she has qualified for a pension, but she has made clear she does not plan to step away from performing.
"I don't want a pension! I wanted to retire when I was 29–30 because I worked too much, but now I enjoy these mature years and the performances," Brena said in one of her interviews. She continues to draw large crowds across the former Yugoslav republics, often accompanied by her husband, former tennis player Boba Živojinović.
Media reports have circulated about her fee for an upcoming New Year's Eve engagement in Zlatibor — cited at a reported €80,000 — underscoring her continued commercial appeal.
