Lepa Lukić receives three pensions — about €2,780 a month
Retired for 23 years, the singer collects a basic pension, a state cultural award pension (2011) and an inherited family pension from Canada that together total about €2,780 per month.

Lepa Lukić — one of the best-known figures on the folk music scene — receives pension income from three separate sources that together amount to roughly 326,000 Serbian dinars per month, or about €2,780.
How the three pensions add up
The singer’s basic pension, calculated on the basis of her employment record, is reported to be about 107,000 dinars monthly. Lukić has said in the past that she held the status of a prominent stage artist for 25 years, which helped raise her pension base.
In addition to the basic pension, she receives a state-awarded pension for exceptional contribution to culture that Serbia granted in 2011. That supplementary pension is reported to add roughly another 73,000 dinars each month.
The largest single payment comes from abroad: Lukić collects an inherited family pension from Canada that was left after the death of her husband, amounting to about €1,250 per month.
Combining the three payments gives a monthly total of around 326,000 dinars, which Serbian media estimate at roughly €2,780.
Reflecting on her financial situation, Lukić has been quoted as saying: "I've been retired for 23 years. I ask for nothing, I'm satisfied. I have three pensions." She has also made clear why she keeps performing: "When it comes to money, I never have to sing again," she said, explaining that singing continues to give her energy rather than income.
