m.Uslugi: mobile ID and driver's licence now available on phones
The Ministry of Digital Transformation presented m.Uslugi as a single mobile gateway to electronic documents and public services.

From today, citizens can carry a digital version of their ID card and driver's license on their mobile phones after the Ministry of Digital Transformation presented the new m.Uslugi mobile application.
The ministry described m.Uslugi as a single mobile gateway to the digital state that combines digital identity, electronic documents, public services and notifications in one place, with planned integration of payments in later phases. The app is free to download and use, and its use is entirely voluntary.
Selective data sharing and a live demonstration
At the presentation, Minister Stefan Andonovski activated the app live and added his electronic ID into the app's digital wallet. He emphasized that the app does not simply present an image or PDF of a document.
“This is not a photograph of the ID card, nor a PDF document. This is an electronic version of the document in the mobile phone,” Andonovski said.
One of the features demonstrated was selective data sharing: users can share only the specific data required for a transaction — for example, proving legal adulthood without revealing address or document number. “If the only question is whether a person is an adult, there is no need to share the address, the document number and all other personal data. A modern digital identity means sharing only the data that is needed,” Andonovski said.
The minister added that the goal is not to move existing administrative procedures unchanged from the counter to the phone, but to simplify them in substance. He said the idea for m.Uslugi began in 2024 after his participation at the Digital Summit in Zurich and learning about Ukraine’s Diia model, and was further developed under the European GovTech4All project through the Digital Europe programme.
