Nations League: Germany seek first win against Serbia in Munich
Germany and Serbia meet at the Allianz Arena as Jürgen Klopp looks for his first win; Greece, Netherlands and Denmark–Portugal are also on the card.

Matchday in the UEFA Nations League returns on 1 October 2026 with eight fixtures across Leagues A, B and C — and the headline meeting is Germany vs Serbia at Munich’s Allianz Arena. Both sides arrive without a win from their opening two matches, and Germany’s new coach Jürgen Klopp is searching for his first victory in charge of the national team.
Big ties in League A
On the same night Greece host the Netherlands in Thessaloniki after the Greeks have started the campaign with "two from two", both results coming on the road. Portugal travel to Copenhagen to face Denmark without Cristiano Ronaldo, while Wales meet Norway in another League A fixture.
In League B, the Republic of Ireland take on Austria and Israel face Kosovo. League C action includes Azerbaijan vs Liechtenstein and Malta vs Gibraltar.
The schedule lists most evening matches at 20:45 local time, with Azerbaijan–Liechtenstein kick-off set earlier at 18:00.
Fans will watch closely to see whether Klopp can turn Germany’s campaign around immediately on home soil and whether Greece can sustain their perfect start when they host one of the favorites in their group.
