Liverpool ready to bid €100 million for Federico Valverde
Reports say Liverpool could offer about €100 million to sign Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde next summer.

Liverpool are preparing a major move for Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde, with reports claiming the English club could table an offer in the region of €100 million next summer.
Ambition to reinforce midfield despite heavy summer spending
The Reds spent heavily during the recent transfer window — approximately £250 million — bringing in several new faces to the squad. Those arrivals listed by the club’s summer recruitment were Jérémy Jaque, Víctor Muñoz, Bradley Barcola, Luka Brugmans and Ronald Araujo, the latter arriving on loan with an option to buy. Despite the investment, Liverpool sit fifth in the Premier League after nine rounds, with 15 points from four wins, three draws and two defeats.
According to the same reports, Liverpool view Valverde as an ideal addition to their central midfield, a signing that could be prioritised especially if Alexis Mac Allister departs — a possibility the club considers uncertain at present.
Sources claim Anfield officials are prepared to offer around €100 million to Real Madrid for the Uruguayan international. The crucial question, however, is whether Real Madrid would consider letting one of their key midfielders leave.
For Liverpool, the potential move would be another sign of intent to close the gap at the top of the Premier League table by adding a player who combines energy, defensive work and forward thrust.
With the transfer window still months away, the situation remains speculative: valuations, player intentions and Real Madrid’s stance will determine whether talks progress beyond initial approaches.
