Lozari protest Monday kick-off: "Enough of bad scheduling"

Tikvesh’s organized supporters group, known as "Lozari," took to social media on the evening of 26 August to protest the kick-off time set for the club’s upcoming home fixture against Vardar.

Supporters call for fans-friendly scheduling

The Football Federation of North Macedonia (FFM) scheduled the Tikvesh–Vardar match for Monday, 31 August, with a 17:00 kick-off at the city stadium in Kavadarci. The meeting is part of the 5th round of the Macedonian First Football League (PMFL).

The Lozari message, posted in full by the supporters group, accused the organizers of prioritizing other interests over the fans and of repeatedly choosing poor match times. The statement reads:

"Football is meant to be played in front of full stands, not with poor scheduling! We ask how long you will keep destroying football and how long you will look only after your own interests, how long will football be played in front of empty stands and how long will bad kick-off times be chosen? Whenever there is a derby match the fixtures are put on Monday at your convenience, but despite everything we will not leave our Tikvesh alone. On Monday, 31 August, starting at 17:00 our Tikvesh welcomes Vardar at home. Let's give maximum support to our players and prove that despite all obstacles the club will not be alone! The gathering starts at 16:00 in front of the east entrance of the city stadium in Kavadarci. Stop the bad scheduling. Forward Tikvesh, win for us"

The supporters also announced a pre-match rally: they called on fans to assemble from 16:00 in front of the east entrance of the stadium to show their backing for the team.

Lozari framed the complaint as part of a wider pattern in which high-profile domestic fixtures end up with late or inconvenient start times. They urged local fans to turn out in numbers so the club will face Vardar with strong home support despite the Monday scheduling.
