Champions League: Barcelona 5–1 Feyenoord — Demirovic hat‑trick sends Stuttgart past Viking
Barcelona won 5:1 at home while Demirovic struck three times in 12 minutes as Stuttgart beat Viking 3:1 on 9 September 2026.

Barcelona opened their Champions League campaign in style on 9 September 2026, routing Feyenoord 5:1 at home as the Catalan side produced a dominant performance.
Raphinha grabbed two goals, while Adeyemi and Jamal also found the net, and Barcelona celebrated a debut goal by Jesus as the hosts controlled the match and created far more chances than the scoreline suggests.
Stuttgart’s rapid hat‑trick
Earlier in the 18:45 kickoff window, Stuttgart beat Viking 3:1 thanks to an electric performance from Bosnian forward Demirovic.
Demirovic scored all three goals for Stuttgart in a 12‑minute burst, between the 20th and the 32nd minute, completing his hat‑trick before halftime.
Viking — the visitors from Norway — managed to level the game briefly at 1:1 in the 22nd minute, but Demirovic’s quick double restored and then sealed Stuttgart’s lead.
Other continental action on the day included wins for Kielce, Zagreb and Veszprem at the start of their European campaigns, while PSG avoided defeat at the very last moment.
