Michael Olise signs with Nike as Hypervenom returns
The winger signed with Nike on 16 October 2026 and will wear the brand’s boots; the retired “Nike Hypervenom Phantom III” is set to return in 2027.

Nike has added Michael Olise to its roster of sponsored players, a fresh signing announced on 16 October 2026 that comes after the brand recently lost Kylian Mbappé.
Olise to wear Nike boots and brand models
Under the new agreement Olise will wear Nike's upcoming football boots and appear in their boot campaigns and model drops in the coming period. The deal ends a long spell during which the winger often played without an official boot sponsor.
Olise favoured a very specific retired model for several seasons: “Nike Hypervenom Phantom III”, a boot that was withdrawn from production around 2018. He used to source old, unused pairs of that model and give them to recognised artists to be hand-painted so their colours matched the kit he wore for particular matches.
The original Hypervenom line was also worn by Neymar at one point, and the model's return is already slated for 2027. That revival appears to be a key element in Nike's effort to refresh its football portfolio after Mbappé's departure.
Reports note that Olise once turned down offers of 2 million pounds from boot manufacturers who wanted him to wear the Hypervenom. The new Nike package is believed to be larger.
