North Macedonia winless in eight matches — no goals so far under Goce Sedloski
The national team are without a victory in eight matches; under Goce Sedloski they have gone 360 minutes without scoring.
North Macedonia enter tonight's match with Switzerland mired in a run of eight games without a win, a sequence that stretches back to September 2025 and has seen the team struggle to find the net since the coaching change.
Their last victory came on 7 September 2025, a 5:0 win over Liechtenstein in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
That result was followed by four fixtures under Blagoja Milevski — a 0:0 draw at Belgium, a 1:1 draw with Kazakhstan at home, a 0:0 friendly at home against Latvia and a 1:7 defeat away to Wales — after which Milevski departed and Goce Sedloski took charge.
Under Sedloski: no goals yet
Sedloski's debut came in Copenhagen in the World Cup play-off against Denmark, a 4:0 defeat. Since then the national team have played four more matches under him: a 0:0 draw away to the Republic of Ireland, a 0:0 friendly in Sarajevo against Bosnia and Herzegovina and a 4:0 friendly defeat away to Turkey.
That sequence means North Macedonia, under Goce Sedloski, have failed to score in 360 minutes of play.
Fans will hope that tonight brings first a goal and then a win, although the visitors face a strong Swiss side.
