North Macedonia to play three friendlies with Beroe before EuroVolley
Three warm-up games against Beroe 2016 in Skopje from 1–4 September will conclude the final stage of preparations ahead of EuroVolley 2026 in Sofia, Bulgaria.

North Macedonia's men's national volleyball team will stage three warm-up matches against Bulgarian Superleague side Beroe 2016 as it finalises preparations for its fourth participation at EuroVolley 2026.
The friendlies are scheduled for 1 to 4 September and will take place at the Jane Sandanski Sports Center in Skopje. Coaches from both teams will decide whether the games are open to the public or played behind closed doors.
Last opportunity to test the squad
Beroe 2016, from Stara Zagora, reached the playoffs of the Bulgarian Superleague last season and recorded a historic appearance in the European Challenge Cup, making them a timely sparring partner for the Macedonian seniors.
The three matches are planned as the final phase of preparations ahead of the continental tournament in Sofia, Bulgaria, and are intended to give the head coach a last check of players' form and combinations before travel.
For the North Macedonia team, the series with Beroe 2016 comes shortly before the start of EuroVolley 2026 and will be used to sharpen tactics, assess fitness and finalise the roster choices for the competition in Sofia.
