Looking ahead to Greece
Petkovski underlined that the team completed the tasks the coach set and is already focused on the next fixture away against Greece. He stressed the need to keep standards high and to prepare calmly for a very different challenge.
"I am happy that we played according to the plan and that we fulfilled the tasks set by the coach. Now we have time to prepare calmly for the match in Greece, which, of course, will be different from today. It is a very good team, which has shown that in previous qualifying matches. It's up to us to play at our maximum, at a high level, fulfill the tasks and try to get the win," Petkovski said.
The match between Greece and North Macedonia is scheduled for Sunday, with a 16:00 kickoff.
