Coach satisfied with form and finishing work
Head coach Bosko Zaborski told reporters he is pleased with the current condition of the team.
“At this time all athletes are in good shape. The basic physical and technical part of the preparations has already been completed, and now we are working on the final details. For each athlete individually we are improving specific technical and tactical elements, depending on his characteristics and needs for the performance in Tirana. The goal is to reach the championship maximally prepared and for each of the representatives to give his maximum,” says selector Zaborski.
The trip to Tirana comes after a period of strong results for Macedonian university karate. The national university squad recently produced a historic showing at the World University Championships in Brazil, where they collected a total of four medals — an achievement that the coaching staff says boosts motivation ahead of the European event.
Expectations are high but the technical staff stresses that focus remains on each individual bout as the team aims to continue its run of successful appearances and podium finishes at major university competitions.
