09.08.2026 15:12 — In a pre-season friendly played in Seoul, South Korea, Manchester City recovered from an early deficit to beat Atletico Madrid 3:1 in front of more than 66,000 spectators.

Atletico took the lead just before half-time when Domingez scored in the 43rd minute.

Second-half turnaround

City responded after the break: Marmush scored twice in quick succession, in the 57th and 59th minutes, overturning Atletico's advantage and giving the visitors control of the match.

The win was sealed deep into stoppage time when Ryan Ait Nouri added a third in the 90th minute to make the final score 3:1 to Manchester City.

Manchester City still have a friendly against Arsenal on their pre-season schedule before the Premier League begins, while Atletico are set to play a warm-up match against Olympique Marseille.
