MANU marks its Day with wreath-laying and Blazhe Koneski award to Sonja Dolzhan
The ceremony includes a wreath-laying at the Blazhe Koneski monument, an address by MANU president Zhivko Popov, and the presentation of the international "Blazhe Koneski" recognition.

The Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts (MANU) is observing its annual Day today with a short ceremonial program in Skopje.
The program begins with the laying of flowers in front of the monument to Blazhe Koneski, after which an address will be delivered by academic Zhivko Popov, the president of MANU.
Awarding the international "Blazhe Koneski" recognition
As part of the Day's schedule, the international recognition "Blazhe Koneski" will be presented to this year’s laureate, Sonja Dolzhan from Slovenia.
A special address at the ceremony will be given by corresponding member Venko Andonovski.
MANU's Day traditionally combines homage at the monument to Blazhe Koneski with presentations that highlight scholarship and cultural ties; this year's program follows that format, pairing the wreath-laying and official speeches with the presentation of the international award.
