The famous Latin music star Marc Anthony has welcomed another addition to his large family. At 57 years old, the singer celebrated the birth of his eighth child, a baby girl named Myla. The mother is his current wife, 27-year-old former beauty queen Nadia Ferreira.
The couple shared their joy with the public through a joint Instagram post featuring pictures of their newborn daughter. In their emotional message, they expressed immense gratitude for Myla's arrival, stating that the level of happiness in their home is beyond imagination. This is the second child for the couple, following the birth of their son Marc in June 2023.
Anthony and Ferreira, who have a 30-year age difference, tied the knot in a Miami ceremony in May 2023. They had previously announced the pregnancy at the beginning of the year and confirmed they were expecting a girl a few months later.
This marks the musician's fourth marriage and expands his already extensive family tree. His oldest child, Ariana, was born in 1994 from his relationship with Debbie Rosado, with whom he also adopted a son, Chase. He shares two sons, Cristian and Ryan, with his former wife Dayanara Torres. Additionally, his decade-long marriage to pop icon Jennifer Lopez brought him twins, Maximilian and Oscar.
Recently, Anthony faced public scrutiny regarding his involvement in raising the twins. Jennifer Lopez openly stated in an interview that she handled most of the parenting duties alone. The criticism intensified when the singer was notably absent from the twins' recent high school graduation ceremony.
