Martina Gjorgjievska stuns in emerald at Kokev’s 20th-anniversary show
The mayor’s wife attended the Stone Bridge fashion evening in a floor-length emerald gown with a black floral cape and platinum hair.
Martina Gjorgjievska drew most of the attention at a high-profile fashion evening on the Stone Bridge in Skopje, arriving hand-in-hand with her husband, Skopje mayor Orce Gjorgjievski. The occasion marked the 20th anniversary of the Kokev atelier and gathered designers, celebrities, politicians and fashion enthusiasts.
Emerald gown and restrained accessories
Gjorgjievska wore a floor-length gown in a deep emerald tone made from a subtly lustrous fabric that fell in rich pleats. The bodice featured a notable décolletage complemented by a black cape decorated with voluminous floral appliqués, a combination that gave the look classical glamour with a couture twist.
She completed the outfit with a sleek, modern haircut in a platinum shade, discreet jewelry and a metallic clutch. Mayor Gjorgjievski matched her with a classic suit and shirt, and the couple presented a composed, elegant appearance throughout the evening.
“Tonight, together with my wife, we attended the celebration of 20 years of a successful story of the atelier 'Kokev' — two decades of dedication, creativity, recognizable style and love for fashion. The Stone Bridge turned into a true fashion stage, where through an exclusive show a completely new collection was presented,” Gjorgjievski wrote on social media alongside photos from the event.
Orce and Martina have been married for more than 16 years and are parents to their son Vedran. Despite busy schedules, the mayor often highlights that family comes first and describes Martina as his closest adviser and most well-intentioned critic.
Gjorgjievska is known for combining elegance with modesty. She was recently the subject of public speculation after some political circles claimed she owned a branded bag worth €30,000. Martina publicly refuted those claims, showing that the bag in question had in fact been bought on sale for 944 denars from a local shop, a fact she used to stress that true style is about taste and attitude rather than price tags.
