11 killed in KwaMakhutha house-party shooting near Durban
Police say a pregnant woman was among the dead and a manhunt is underway for three suspects.
At least 11 people were killed and three were wounded in a late-night shooting at a house party in KwaMakhutha, about 30 kilometres south of Durban. The attack took place last night when three men entered the house and opened fire on those inside.

Police confirmed that a pregnant woman was among the fatalities. Ten people died at the scene, while four were taken to hospital, where one of them later succumbed to their injuries.
Authorities said the victims had been gathered at a private home when the assailants forced their way in and began shooting. A manhunt is underway for the three suspects believed to be responsible.
The motive for the attack has not been officially established. Police noted, however, that some of the people at the house reportedly had criminal records.
Local law enforcement has launched searches and investigative procedures as they seek to locate and arrest the attackers. No arrests have been reported so far.
