North Macedonia U20 men's handball squad convenes; Igor Ilievski conducts roll-call
Coach Igor Ilievski called the squad and led the first training at the Rasadnik hall; two friendlies are scheduled for 4 and 6 November 2026.
The North Macedonia U20 men's handball squad officially assembled today, with head coach Igor Ilievski conducting a roll-call before the team took the court for its first session at the Rasadnik hall.
The gathering was organised as part of activities linked to EHF Week, and marks the start of the squad's short preparatory phase ahead of upcoming fixtures.
Match schedule and venue
As part of these preparations, the North Macedonia U20 team will play two friendly matches against the Macedonian cadet team.
The first friendly is scheduled for 4 November 2026 at 15:00 in the Rasadnik hall. The second will be held on 6 November 2026 at 12:00, at the same venue.
Coach Ilievski led the squad through the initial training session after the roll-call, focusing on basic work to start the camp. The organisation says the short series of sessions and matches is intended to give playing time to a wider pool of players ahead of future competitions.
Local supporters and family members were present at the Rasadnik hall to observe the first workout, and further announcements about squad selection and additional sessions are expected from the coaching staff during the coming days.
