North Macedonia men’s volleyball slip to 54th in latest FIVB rankings
Adjustments after the Nations League left the team one place lower as Australia moved up.

The North Macedonia men's senior volleyball team dropped one place to 54th in the latest FIVB world rankings published after adjustments following the conclusion of the Nations League.
The August ranking shows the team slipping a single spot compared with the previous list. The movement on the table was driven by another team's rise: Australia climbed from 54th to 52nd, which directly pushed North Macedonia down.
Top positions unchanged after Nations League
There were no changes at the very top of the standings. Poland, which won the Nations League yesterday, remains in first place, followed by Italy and Russia. Slovenia and the United States complete the top five.
Bulgaria, drawn as North Macedonia’s first opponent at the upcoming European Championship, holds 9th place on the world list.
The updated ranking provides a snapshot of the teams’ positions ahead of the continental tournament and reflects the post‑Nations League recalibration of points.
