Max Mara launches Le Parfum — a fragrance inspired by its iconic coat

Max Mara has introduced Le Parfum, an Eau de Parfum for women that translates the house's signature outerwear into a scented expression of its style. The perfume is positioned as a discreet but memorable finishing touch — described by the brand as "your invisible coat."

Fragrance and bottle

The scent opens on tuberose, built from a creamy absolute sourced from Guatemala and tuberose from Grasse, moving into a vanilla heart and settling on a warm base of naturally sourced sandalwood and cedarwood. The formula is reported to be long-lasting, vegan and made with 90% ingredients of natural origin.

The bottle echoes the garment that inspired it: a sculptural silhouette recalls the cut of Max Mara’s iconic coat, while a tied belt and a gold button are reimagined as design details. The container is finished in Max Mara’s signature camel shade and is designed to be refillable, aiming for longevity in a personal collection.

Alongside the Eau de Parfum, the line includes Max Mara Le Parfum Body Lotion, intended for use before applying the fragrance to pulse points to intensify and prolong the scent trail.

With Le Parfum, Max Mara extends its sartorial language into fragrance, offering a scent meant to function like a well-chosen coat: a personal signature that remains after the wearer has left the room.
