Man in Belgrade attacks buses with branch, arrested after five officers intervene
A man in Belgrade used a tree branch and a broken glass during a confrontation with buses; five officers subdued and arrested him and one policeman was cut.

In Belgrade today a man attacked a bus stop after a bus reportedly failed to stop for him, then used a tree branch to strike a second vehicle before police intervened.
At least five officers surrounded and tried to restrain the man, who was reportedly holding a broken glass in his hand. During the confrontation one officer sustained a cut to the forehead caused by the glass.
Police intervention and medical care
Police quickly overpowered and arrested the aggressor at the scene. The injured officer, who received a laceration to his forehead, was treated by the Emergency Medical Service.
Witnesses say the incident began when the man became enraged after a bus did not stop for him at a stop; he then tore a branch from a tree and struck another bus with it. The episode was recorded and circulated on social media.
Authorities have not released further details about the suspect’s identity or possible charges. The arrested man remains in custody while police continue their investigation.
