Medzhiti to Mickoski: 'Politics of "alone against everyone" won’t succeed'
After the Brvenica vote Medzhiti told Mickoski that provocative post-election statements are counterproductive and called for dialogue and cooperation.

Medzhiti addressed Hristijan Mickoski after the vote in Brvenica, warning that confrontational tactics will not bring political success and urging a change of tone ahead of future contests.
In a short statement, Medzhiti emphasized respect for voters’ choices and rejected post-election provocations as predictable pre-election folklore. He wrote: "Votes are the free choice of the voters."
Call for dialogue across communities
Medzhiti argued that in a multi-ethnic society leaders must avoid creating an ‘‘us versus them’’ dynamic, because such divisions imply inequality and the marginalization of the other. He said those approaches undermine democratic cohesion.
The politician insisted that cooperation and open dialogue are essential for the functioning of any society and for solving local problems. He framed his message as a reminder that polarizing rhetoric harms citizens more than political rivals.
Observers note the exchange follows the results in Brvenica and reflects broader tensions in the run-up to upcoming votes, where appeals to unity or division can sway undecided voters.
