North Macedonia's women's volleyball team lost to Greece 3:1 (22:25, 25:13, 25:7, 25:17) on August 26, 2026, in the third round of the group stage at the Mediterranean Games in Taranto.

Momentum shift after the opening set
After the bright start, North Macedonia's level dropped noticeably and Greece seized control, winning the next two sets decisively 25:13 and 25:7. The match turned into a struggle to stop the Greek rhythm.
The fourth set saw the Macedonian side try to climb back into the match, but Greece held their tempo and finished the set 25:17 to seal the victory.
With the group phase still underway, North Macedonia will look for a response in their next match against Algeria on August 27, 2026.
