Miha Kotar joins Budvanska rivijera on loan from RK Pelister
The centre back, signed from Partizan in summer, will spend the rest of the season on loan at Budvanska rivijera.
RK Pelister has confirmed that Miha Kotar will spend the remainder of the season on loan at Budvanska rivijera, a club competing in Montenegro's top handball division. The move was announced on 11 October 2026.
The agreement covers the current season, which means Kotar will wear the Montenegrin side's shirt until the campaign concludes.
Background and reasons for the loan
Kotar joined Pelister this past summer after transferring from Partizan and had been presented as a significant reinforcement for the Bitola club.
Competition for the centre back position intensified after Pelister signed Sadu Ntanzi, and the club's management judged a loan the most sensible option to secure Kotar regular playing time.
The loan to Budvanska rivijera gives Kotar a temporary platform in a neighbouring top league while Pelister maintains his registration for the season.
