Michael Olise agrees new Bayern contract until 2030

Bayern Munich have reached an agreement with Michael Olise on a new contract that will keep the 24-year-old winger at the club until 2030, the club and player confirmed on October 16, 2026.

Despite reported interest from Real Madrid, Olise has decided to remain in Munich and has given his verbal assent: "YES". The new deal includes a significant salary increase that will place him among the highest-paid players at the club alongside Harry Kane.

What the signing means for Bayern

Olise joined Bayern in the summer of 2024 from Crystal Palace for a fee of around €60 million and adapted quickly to Vincent Kompany's system. His combination of technique, pace and chance-creation has made him a central figure in Bayern's attack.

In 116 appearances for Bayern, the 24-year-old has produced 50 goals and 58 assists. His current market value is listed at €180 million, figures that underline why the club moved to secure his future early.

The club still needs to formalise the paperwork and announce the contract publicly, but if the reports are confirmed Bayern will have ensured continuity and stability for their forward line as they plan future seasons.
