Arteta u shpreh për Sky Sports: "Of course the ambition of the club and of the owners is to be the best club in the world." Ai shpjegoi se për të arritur këtë duhen investime të mëdha: "To achieve that you need the best facilities, the best stadium, the best supporters and the best team and the best players in the world."

Trajneri shtoi se klubi do të vazhdojë të sjellë lojtarë elitë për t’u afruar më tepër në majat europiane: "That is what we are trying to build with the players we have now and the ones we want to bring in to make the difference for Arsenal," tha ai.

Në spite të statusit si favorit për të mbrojtur titullin, Arteta tha se ndihet rehat me presionin: "I think that's part of our industry and that's normal." "What matters to me is when I look into the eyes of my players and see that fire, that desire and will to be better every day. That is all I care about," shtoi ai.

"This is an opportunity in front of us and we are fully aware of what will be required to achieve it," tha Arteta. "But I feel the ambition, I feel the desire, I feel the capability and the belief in the team that we can do it."
