Real Madrid's youth ranks have produced another standout striker in 15-year-old Mikel López, a forward whose combination of size and scoring record has drawn attention across Spain.

Scouts and local reports liken López's physical profile and attacking instincts to those of Erling Haaland: despite being only 15, he is already about 1.92 metres tall and athletic enough to impose himself in duels. Remarkably, he was approximately 1.80 metres at age ten.

Playing profile and numbers

López operates as a classic "number nine" for Real Madrid's cadet side and has compiled an eye-catching tally in youth competitions — 148 goals across the age groups. His game is defined by physical strength, aerial and physical dominance and an ability to finish chances.

What further intrigues talent staff is his speed: even with his height he is dangerous in transition and particularly effective when Real Madrid recover possession and move quickly upfield.

Internationally, López has already represented Spain at under-15 level and was part of the squad that won the World Cup in that age category, underscoring his progress on the national stage.

At club level he remains a player to monitor as he continues to develop in La Fábrica, where expectations are high that his attributes and goalscoring record could make him a leading prospect for the future.
