On October 15, 2026, AC Milan produced a dominant performance in Austria, beating Red Bull Salzburg 4-0 in the second round of the Europa League group stage. The match was defined by a spectacular hat-trick from youngster Alfadjo Sise and a late strike from Gonzalo Ramos.

Milan seize control early

Milan set the tone in the first half, striking twice before the break. Sise opened the scoring in the 15th minute and doubled the lead in the 32nd after a well-worked team move, leaving Salzburg chasing shadows heading into halftime.

The Rossoneri continued aggressively after the interval: Sise completed his hat-trick in the 49th minute to all but settle the outcome, and Ramos added the fourth in the 72nd minute as Milan signed off on one of their most convincing European nights this season.

Elsewhere in Group stage fixtures, Lyon secured a 3-2 home victory over Crystal Palace at the Groupama Stadium. Corentin Tolisso put the hosts ahead in the 8th minute, and Ernest Nuamah extended the advantage in added time of the first half (45+2) with an assist from Keito Nakamura.

Crystal Palace fought back after the break: Jeremie Pino reduced the deficit to 2-1 in the 50th minute, but Lyon restored a two-goal cushion through Pavel Schulz in the 76th. Daichi Kamada pulled one back for the visitors in the 81st minute, and despite Palace’s late efforts the French side held on for the three points.
