Milan Lazarevski cleared to return for Vardar after shoulder rehab

Published 21.08.2026 19:55 — Vardar and North Macedonia gain a boost as national team pivot Milan Lazarevski is prepared to return to competitive action after recovering from a shoulder injury.

Lazarevski completed his rehabilitation program successfully and medical checks indicate the problem is not serious. The pivot had been sidelined while recovering from the shoulder issue that kept him off the court.

Season outlook and role

The player previously missed approximately a year because of the same shoulder problem, but made a comeback at the right moment in the past and returned stronger, becoming one of Vardar’s leaders during title runs. Coaches and club staff expect him to resume training with the squad and to be available for selection once he regains full match fitness.

An Instagram post by Aleksandar Dimitrovski (@alex.d_physio) confirmed updates on Lazarevski’s recovery, sharing images and notes from the rehabilitation process.

Vardar will assess his workload carefully to avoid a recurrence and to integrate him gradually into team practice. Fans who remember his previous contributions and leadership are already anticipating his reappearance on court.
