Milan suffered first defeat as Mbangula hat-trick downs them; Inter win after two Venezia own goals
Milan suffered a first-season defeat as Bologna completed a late comeback; Inter benefited from two Venezia own goals.

AC Milan suffered their first defeat of the season on October 28, 2026, losing 4-2 at San Siro to Bologna after arriving at half-time with a 2-1 lead.
Bologna opened the scoring in the eighth minute through Samuel Mbangula, but young Alfadjo Sise struck twice for Milan in the 14th and 27th minutes to give the hosts the advantage before the break.
Second-half turnaround sealed by Mbangula hat-trick
Luka Modrić came on at the start of the second half, yet Milan could not consolidate their play. In the 60th minute Davide Bartezagi put the ball into his own net to make it 2-2, and two minutes later Mbangula completed his second of the night to put Bologna ahead.
The decisive blow arrived in the 86th minute when Mbangula completed his hat-trick and sealed the 4-2 victory for the visitors.
Earlier the same evening Inter Milan claimed a 2-0 away win over Venezia in Serie A, but the scoreline owed more to misfortune than to Venezia's attacking shortcomings. Defenders conceded twice into their own goal, allowing the Italian champions to keep pressure on the top of the table.
In the 79th minute Matijas Moreno inadvertently put the ball into his own net to make it 1-0 for Inter, and three minutes later Akor Adams followed with another own goal to confirm the final 2-0 result.
