Milica Rizo Trajkov wows judges with cabaret act, wins six "YES" on Zvezdite na Grand

Young singer Milica Rizo Trajkov from Kavadarci delivered a striking cabaret-style performance on the popular regional show Zvezdite na Grand, earning unanimous approval from the judging panel and a direct passage to the competition's second round.

Milica received the maximum six "YES" votes after a stage entrance and a set that combined daring fashion, theatrical gestures and a voice with a distinctive timbre. The production confirmed she will continue the next phase working with Gjorge David as her mentor.

Judges compared her to Josipa Lisac

The performance drew praise from several judges for its avant-garde energy and confident stagecraft. Sanja Vučić told Milica: "Even as she came down the stairs you could feel that strange, avant‑garde energy. You possess a virtuosity I really liked… The phrasing is clipped, strange, and I'd like to work together!"

Ceca Ražnatović added: "I liked it! She's different, she's herself. There's yodeling, you flirt with genres, with pop, jazz and ethno ornaments. You are a born performer!"

Dada Bubamara noted the visual effect of Milica's entrance and made the comparison that many viewers echoed: "You are special and different. As soon as I saw you with that cap while you were coming down, you immediately reminded me of Josipa Lisac – you are unique!"

Other panel members, including Aleksandar Milić Mili and Keba, praised her cabaret approach and said they welcome performers who clearly enjoy being on stage. Viewers will now watch how Milica develops under Gjorge David's mentorship as the contest advances.

Milica is not new to the program: she previously competed as a member of Mili's team, where a transparent jumpsuit became one of her most talked‑about moments. Since then she has performed across North Macedonia — notably at the Tikves Grape Harvest in Kavadarci — while continuing to train in modern ballet and refine her stage persona.
