Antonio Milososki, Vice‑President of the Assembly, received the mounted escort this evening at the Pillar of the Kruševo Republic as part of the commemorative programme "10 Days Kruševo Republic 2026."

The Assembly delegation then moved to other sites in Kruševo to place flowers and mark the opening of the ten‑day programme. The group included Nikola Micevski, coordinator of the VMRO‑DPMNE parliamentary group; MP Petar Risteski; and Marina Dimovska, the Assembly's general secretary.
According to the programme, members of the delegation laid flowers on the grave of Pitu Guli in front of the monument at the Partisan graves, at the grave of Toše Proeski, by the crypt of the Ilinden insurgents, and before the bust of Vele Markov.
The event in Kruševo opens the traditional commemorations for Ilinden — Day of the Republic — and marks the 123rd anniversary of the Ilinden Uprising and the Kruševo Republic. The ten‑day series of events will run under the programme name "10 Days Kruševo Republic 2026."
The Assembly's participation and the ceremonial reception of the mounted escort formed part of the official commemorative activities taking place in the town throughout the coming days.
