Miodrag "Grof" Božović watches Vardar in Cup tie against Ovche Pole
The Montenegrin coach appeared for the first time at the stadium after his appointment and will take over the team from tomorrow.
Vardar, the reigning domestic league champion, are currently contesting a Macedonian Cup tie on the road against Ovche Pole. Among the spectators at the stadium is the club's newly appointed head coach, Miodrag "Grof" Božović.
Božović's first public appearance with Vardar
Božović, a Montenegrin, was officially named Vardar's head coach two days before the match; the club's announcement came on September 1, 2026. This match marks his first outing in the club's colours in an official capacity.
The report notes that, while he watched from the stands today, he is due to assume full coaching duties starting tomorrow.
Vardar return to league action on Monday at the Petar Milosevski complex in Skopje, where they will host Arsimi at 19:00 in the sixth round of the PMFL Championship.
The club's cup fixture and the close timing of Božović's appointment mean supporters and club officials will be watching closely as the new coach prepares to take charge of the squad.
