Mirkovski: Our goal is to bring Rabotnicki back to the top
Coach Vladimir Mirkovski says new management and reinforcements aim to return Rabotnicki to title contention.

Vladimir Mirkovski has set the tone ahead of the domestic basketball season: Rabotnicki must return to the top. Mirkovski begins his 24th season as a coach and his second at the helm of the senior team of KK Rabotnicki AD Skopje, the club that holds the record for most national championship titles (15) in independent North Macedonia.
"Our goal is to return Rabotnicki to where it belongs — at the top! We have a new board, new energy and a shared aim — to bring Rabotnicki back to where it belongs!" Mirkovski said, underlining the club's renewed leadership and ambition.
He described last campaign as a testing period that ultimately tightened the group. "Last season was turbulent, but it made us united. We kept the team's core, brought in a few reinforcements at the positions where we were lacking and created an excellent blend of youth and experience. Our ambitions are clear — we expect to play in the final," Mirkovski added.
Preparation and outlook
As part of pre-season preparations, Mirkovski revealed the club has arranged nine friendly matches against domestic and foreign opponents to measure the squad's level and readiness ahead of the competitive calendar.
"We have scheduled nine friendly matches, with domestic and foreign teams, which will give us the true picture of the team's quality and readiness before the season starts. I expect maximum commitment, discipline and dedication from every player," he said, calling for discipline and full dedication from the roster.
The coach's message is clear: with preserved core players, selected reinforcements and fresh management, Rabotnicki will chase a return to the title race this season.
