Mladenovski opens season with goal as Varaždin beat Hajduk
The former Shkupi, Makedonija GP and Vardar forward scored the opener in the derby with Hajduk as Varaždin went on to win.
Mario Mladenovski marked the start of his 2026–27 campaign in Croatia by scoring and helping Varaždin to victory on August 2, 2026.
Playing in the derby against Hajduk, the Macedonian international produced a fine strike to open the scoring and give Varaždin a 1:0 lead early in the match.
Hajduk later pulled the score level, but Varaždin regained the advantage with a further goal and held on to take the win.
