Youth Champions League: Brera visit Hoffenheim in second-leg, aiming to give their all

Tonight, 4 November 2026, at 18:00 local time, Brera's youth side travel to the Dietmar-Hopp Stadium for the return leg of the UEFA Youth League second qualifying round against Hoffenheim.

After a 0:3 defeat in the first leg played in Strumica, the tie is effectively decided in Hoffenheim's favour, but Brera insist they will fight to improve the impression left in the opening match and to produce the best possible result in the second leg.

Historic milestone and route to Hoffenheim

Coach Gjorge Stojchev's players have already secured a milestone for the club by reaching the second qualifying round. Brera became the first club from Macedonia that not only recorded a victory but also qualified for the next round in this competition.

The Strumica side reached this stage after eliminating Santa Coloma of Andorra with an 11:0 aggregate score, which set up the meeting with Hoffenheim.

The team completed their final training session in Hoffenheim yesterday. Latest reports say the mood in the squad is positive and motivation is high ahead of tonight's match.

Brera have also appealed to the Macedonian community living in Germany to come to the stands at Dietmar-Hopp Stadium and support the young players from Strumica.
