Brera v Santa Coloma in Strumica — Brera aim to seal passage in style

Today, October 14, 2026, at 14:00 the return leg of the first qualifying round in the UEFA Youth League between Brera and Santa Coloma will be played at the "Mladost" Stadium in Strumica. Brera arrives with a comfortable advantage after winning the first match 3:0 as the away side in Andorra, so anything short of a win and a formal confirmation of qualification would be a major surprise.

Home crowd urged to turn out

Brera now has the chance to seal advancement to the next phase in front of their home supporters. In the following round the youth side would face Hoffenheim: the first leg is scheduled for Strumica, with the return in Germany.

Coach Gjorgje Stojchev and club staff expect the players to produce another strong performance and another victory today. The club’s technical team and staff have stressed the importance of concentration after the strong first-leg result.

Gjorge Tanchev and Ivan Shiric yesterday called on fans to fill the stands, support the young Strumica players and celebrate together what would be a historic passage to the next round — a milestone no Macedonian team has yet achieved in this competition.

Clubs that have previously represented the country in the UEFA Youth League include Shkëndija (three times), Vardar, Rabotnički and Pobeda; this is Brera’s second participation.

The tie completes today with Brera vs Santa Coloma at 14:00; the overall winner will meet Hoffenheim in the next round.
