Sunny and very hot weather is expected today with only small to moderate cloudiness during the daytime. During the afternoon there will be conditions for local development of unstable clouds with short, heavy showers and possible thunderstorms. Winds will be light to moderate from the north. Minimum temperatures are forecast in the range of 11 to 22 degrees Celsius, while daytime highs will reach between 32 and 39 degrees Celsius.
Today's forecast for Skopje
In Skopje the day will be sunny and very warm with small to moderate cloudiness. Winds will be light to moderate from the north. The minimum temperature is expected to fall to 19 °C and the maximum to reach 38 °C.
The Hydrometeorological Service (UHMR) also warns that similar conditions — sunny and very hot weather with small to moderate cloudiness during the day — are expected to persist in the coming days.
Residents are advised to be aware of the possibility of sudden, localized downpours and thunderstorms in the afternoon hours, which may be brief but intense in some areas.
Authorities have not issued any general warnings beyond the forecast, but people should monitor local updates if they plan to be outdoors this afternoon and evening.
